Wedding Andrea and David
Romance, beauty, and history all tied into one day…that only begins to describe Andrea and David’s fantastic wedding celebration in Rome. Andrea and David, a young couple from America, knew from the moment of their engagement that they wanted to get married in Rome. This lovely duo also knew that was no better place to exchange their nuptials than at the stunning and holy Saint Peter’s Basilica in Vatican City. It was a great choice for a venue, considering not much extra décor was needed! And getting married in one of the most historic and exquisite churches in the world is something that Andrea and David will never forget.
Despite the typical crowds visiting the Basilica that day, Andrea and David’s ceremony was extremely intimate. Dressed in a gorgeous white dress with lace sleeves and a sweeping veil, Andrea walked down the aisle to exchanges vows with the love of her life. The love between the two was palpable, and the couple’s closest friends and family were so excited witnesses to their beautiful lifelong promise. Andrea and David also had a stunning set of photographs taken in Vatican Square, in front of the Pantheon, and in Italian gardens following the ceremony. Their photographer did a wonderful job capturing the romance of the day.
The reception to follow also took place near one of Rome’s most historic sights, the Pantheon. It was rooftop venue overlooking the city, with a few tables scattered and a long table draped with a runner and vases of purple and ivory flowers placed along it from end to end. The venue was also perfect for the time of day. The sunset cast a golden-orange light on the party and guests were treated to a beautifully painted sky over the city as they ate. It was a gorgeous evening to celebrate the newlyweds. Andrea, David and their guests also enjoyed plenty of food and drinks throughout the evening. Guests also had “kissing bells” at their seats, which they could ring to summon the bride and groom to exchange a “wedded kiss”. It was such a unique and special addition that made their love even during the reception.
