When you and your other half decide to marry abroad you obviously want everything to run smoothly and be the very best it can be. You set your date, invite your nearest and dearest and then, find the very best people to help you create the perfect day, hoping all of your dreams come true.
Sarah and Danielle are the very best people! They had everything at their fingertips to help us bring our day together – and my gosh it was everything we had dreamed of.
Their knowledge of locations, photographers, hair and make-up people and most importantly their ability to navigate the complex Italian legal system to make sure we were legally married in one ceremony (no registry office in England first) was first class.
From the first video call we knew we could trust Sarah, she was kind and funny and understood exactly the day we wanted. Her fee’s were very reasonable, and nothing was too much hassle. She gave us detailed instructions on the paperwork we had to complete in England. She offered suggestions for town hall locations, we decided on Frascati (stunning!!) she gave us a list of wonderful photographers, we picked Daniele Torella’s Studio and Stefano was absolutely superb on the day, we wanted simple hair and make up and Anna Mette created the look we wanted without the faff of trials. And, she was there on the day making sure every box was ticked and translated the ceremony for us (a legal requirement if you don’t speak Italian).
We couldn’t recommend Sarah and Danielle enough, together as a team they went above and beyond making our special day the dream wedding we will never forget! Thank you both ✨❤️

Let me just start off by saying that our wedding planning had many bumps along the way to the point where I wanted to cancel the whole thing. We are from California and working with someone who lives in a different continent might seem hard. However, Sarah was very accommodating and responds in a timely manner to emails and queries. On days where it felt impossible to get through the day because of the hurdles that we had to deal with, she was there to give me just the right information to keep moving forward. When we finally met her, it felt like meeting an old friend. She was warm, unassuming, and kind. My wedding day turned out perfectly because of her hard work and dedication. My beautiful bride and I have just returned to Australia after getting married in Rome in early August and a honeymoon in the Med and UK. It’s obviously a long way from Australia to Rome, so to try and organize the logistics of a wedding would be challenging.
We already had selected a hotel with a rooftop terrace to hold our intimate ceremony, but we needed help with everything else.
Great idea…..lets use a wedding planner.
A google and study of reviews lead us to Weddings in Rome by RAYS srl….and Sarah. It turned what could have been an almost impossible task, into a relatively easy experience to tick things off the ‘to do’ list after receiving recommendations for photographers, hair and make up, cars, celebrate, flowers, violinist, etc…..
The day went like clockwork, was perfect. Sarah met with us a couple of days prior so our minds were at ease knowing we were in good hands. Her English was perfect, so no language barrier either via email or face to face. Our ceremony was intimate, just the two of us, no friends or family. Sarah added a friendly face and a few ‘it will be ok’ to the bride when the inevitable panics occurred prior to the ceremony.
The experience with Sarah was just easy, from our first email exchange when deciding who we should engage, to the hug goodbye after the ceremony when we were getting in the Mercedes with the photographer to get pics done at various monuments.
Thank you Sarah and we would strongly recommend Weddings in Rome by RAYS srl to plan large or small ceremonies in Rome or other areas in Italy.
