Wedding Claire and Sean
Claire and Sean met in 2010 in the first few days of an MBA program in France. It was during the official start of the program, in a workshop, that Sean and Clair met.
I gathered that Sean was pretty much determined to pursue Claire but that Claire had quite a dislike when they first met…! Sean invited her to join a party and with a little persistence magic begun.
Once the program was over Claire left to return to Hong Kong. Claire flew back to Paris at the end of 2011 to spend Christmas and New Year with Sean. After spending so much time together they thought they should give it a try to be together. Ever since they have been flying back and forth from Europe and Asia to see each other. It’s challenging to have a long distance relationship for two years. In the fall of 2013 they decided to get married. And the story continues… and only gets better.
Sean and Claire wed at the Sala Rossa – Campidoglio – our beautiful, Michelangelo-designed Rome town hall. Violin, flowers, elegant groomsmen, beautiful bridesmaids accentuated the warmth of their global circle of friends and family, hailing from the far reaches: Brazil, Hong Kong, Canada, China the USA and Italy too, what a worldly congregation…
Just a short stroll from the legendary Spanish Steps and a step of picturesque Villa Borghese a magnificent 5 star hotel hosted them. Famed for its exquisite Michelin-star rooftop restaurant this 1880’s era hotel offers spectacular views of the majestic St. Peter’s Dome and the unique Roman cityscape beyond.
Beautiful pink and white flowers, candles and flower petals adorned the party scene. The couple gave guests pretty favors/bomboniere, symbolizing love and good luck. Lovely traditional Italian music played and lots of fun with games, dances and speeches followed.
Congratulations to Sean and Claire!
