Wedding Pritika and Davide
It was our pleasure to host a lovely couple as they shared their special day with us during the month of February, a month that celebrated love and romance. Their wedding brought together a beautiful blend of cultures as the bride, Pritika, was from India, and David was born and raised Italian. The couple lives in Dubai and met while studying in England, which added 2 more cultures into the mix, which was so wonderful to witness. Pritika and David were a perfect match—you could tell by their smiles and the evident love between them that was shared throughout the entire day. The couple chose to celebrate their special day in Rome, which in our opinion could not have been a better choice!
The ceremony took place at San Giuseppe dei Falegnami, a gorgeous church located right next to the historic Roman Forums! Could the location get any more historic and beautiful than that?! Candles and yellow rose peddles lined the aisles and illuminated the church. The only thing brighter than the flower girls’ yellow dresses was Pritika’s smile. She wore gorgeous lace dress with an up-swept hairdo and sparkling hairpiece to complete her beautiful, bridal look.
David was extremely eager to meet her as she came down the aisle, and the happiness beamed from both their faces throughout the ceremony and into the evening. After the ceremony guests lined the entrance of the church and showered the newlyweds with rose peddles- how fun! The couple drove from the ceremony to the reception in very classy Old Fiat 1100. Pritika and David’s skilled photographer captured some wonderful photos of them throughout the city as well. With breathtaking views and expounding joy from both of their faces, these photos will sure to be a very special keepsake for them to remember this day for many years to come.
The reception following was held at a Villa which has a stunning skyline view of the eternal city. Guests enjoyed a delicious dinner inside the venue, and there were plenty of drinks to go around. Everyone congregated on the balcony of the Villa as Pritika and Davide cut their wedding cake with the beautiful city in the background. The cake had yellow and white flowers embellished along the sides, so it fit very nicely with the theme of the wedding. Shortly after the cake, speeches, and first dances, the band picked up and everyone was on the dance floor!
The music kept everything lively and fun, as the couple and their guests sang and danced to all different styles of music. It was very beautiful to see both families dancing to the Indian music they played as well. Guests even ducked under a limbo stick! It was an evening full of wonderful food, friends, family and most importantly, love. Family and friends were also given a small taste of Italy to take home with them- a small bottle of olive oil! It was the perfect touch Pritika and David added to give their guests such a unique and authentic reminder of their special day in Rome.
